Kickside drawing

Sometimes drawings are more clear than any pictures

But then again....

Did he get it all?

The circuit breaker shown in this Ace Presentation drawing is apparently a round box or block of some sort. A simple toggle switch marked with "ON" and "OFF" is fastened into this body and wires drawn to the battery and from the switch to the lamps and generator.

I have one switch almost like this used as a shorting out for the magneto, mounted on my Henderson 1916. Its previous owner, a very good mechanic and a foreman at the locomotive maintenance in our town wanted a safe means of stopping his Henderson and mounted

" a switch from another four cylinder motorcycle which could take the power"...

Maybe he got it from an ACE ?

It appears that the electrical layout on the early Ace is a very simple manual regulation system.

The picture of the bike seen from the motorcycle on the page with the  left side picture shows a small connecting device attached to the rear fender or a frame tab.

I would appreciate very much any input or comments on the electrics on the early Ace.  If I get these little riddles sorted out , I could finish the restoring of my Ace and possibly  present these pages to a video with  sounds, as to  how a real 1920 Ace runs.

FOUND IT!
Of course Ace ordered their switches from the same company that made auxilliary switches for the Ford T!

I bought these switches as NOS Ford T units
